Set in the ghetto of Baltimore, Maryland. Black Butterfly is a book about a single mother named “EBONI,” that has dreams of being a model and actress. She has a young son named Nadet that’s around 10 years old that she depends on for support as she goes for her dreams. After many auditions she lands the starring role on the first all black soap opera called “BLACK BUTTERFLY.” Soon she becomes a big star and is accused of murdering the producers wife on the set, but of course she did not commit the murder and is being framed. As she makes headlines, she tries to clear her name and has to protect her family from the real killers!
